GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

The Back Deck wants to give back to the community in any way that it can, so each year we try to partner with an organization to host a charitable event. For 10 years, The Back Deck & Lynnhaven River NOW joined forces to host an Oyster Roast to raise money to restore our very own Lynnhaven River. Over the course of 10 years, we were able to raise tens of thousands of dollars for Lynnhaven River NOW, a tax exempt charitable organization. The funds donated supported the continue restoration of the Lynnhaven River and the education of tomorrow’s river stewards in the public and private schools of Virginia Beach.

This Fall, we've partnered with Bubba's to support Samaritan House in their hopes to paint the 757 Purple. Samaritan House is a local non profit organization with a mission to foster personal safety, growth and self-sufficiency in adults and their children through the freedom from sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking and homelessness. Throughout the month of October, The Back Deck will be donating 50% of our purple crush sales to Samaritan House! Click this link to donate to their cause.
